The word civil is derived from Latin word ” civis ” that means citizen and proceeding is a legal process. It means when we adopt proper procedure in the Courts of law to get the rights of private citizens it is called civil proceedings. There is a dire need that citizens must consult a good lawyer on infrigment of their rights. A professional must assess the case in the light of facts, documents and evidence to determine the strength of case. After discussing the issues in detail he will draft the plaint and prepare an affidavit if necessary. Then after getting signatures and affixing court fees he will file the plaint in relevant court to get relief in form of decree or order. After recording evidence and final arguments the client may or may not get relief. If he is successful then execution proceedings will start for implimentation of decree. But if Court does not order in our favour, we may file appeal or revision in High forum to get relief properly.
